From June 3-14, 2024, Landon Padgett Memorial Fund will raffle one signed Dawn Staley basketball! Proceeds will go directly to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta via the The Landon Padgett Patient Family Assistance Program, which provides financial support to families of patients at the Sibley Heart Center Cardiology where Landon spent most of his nursing career.

 

ABOUT DAWN STALEY

Dawn Staley is currently head coach at the University of South Carolina and has had a long and illustrious USA Basketball career that began as an athlete in 1989. In 2017 2017 she was named head coach of the USA Basketball Women’s National Team through the Tokyo Olympics, where she capped her USA Basketball career by piloting the U.S. to a seventh-straight Olympic gold medal. After leading USA to gold at the Olympics and the FIBA AmeriCup in 2021, Staley was named as a co-recipient of the 2021 USA Basketball National Coach of the Year Award, which she shared with U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball head coach Gregg Popovich.

Staley has won a total of 10 gold medals as an athlete, including three Olympic and two FIBA World Championship gold medals, one bronze medal and seven international invitational titles from 1989-2004.

Eligibility

The Board of Trustees of Landon Padgett Memorial Fund are ineligible for this raffle. All other individuals are welcome to enter the raffle.

 

RAFFLE DURATION

The raffle will open on Monday, June 3 2024 and closes on Friday, June 14, 2024 at midnight.

Checks must be postmarked by Friday, June 14th to be eligible for the raffle.
